Four Great Cornish Gardens

A milder than average climate and a rich history means Cornwall has a wealth of intriguing gardens, many of which are open to visitors throughout the year. Here’s our top picks.

Eden Project

The award-winning Eden Project is often named among the UK’s very best attractions – and it’s easy to see why. Wander through acres of colourful flowers and herb-scented paths that lead to two impressive biomes. Inside, you’ll discover plants from Mediterranean climates and step into the world’s largest indoor living rainforest. 🌿

Soak up the vibrant blooms and fragrances of South Africa, California and the Mediterranean, then follow the trails to the rainforest’s waterfall, alive with tropical sights and sounds. Don’t miss the Canopy Walkway for a treetop view, or the traditional Malaysian hut complete with its own paddy field.

The Eden Project is all about inspiring and educating. Visit The Core for interactive exhibits, learn about eco-friendly innovations, and enjoy a packed programme of year-round activities. With cafés, restaurants and kiosks dotted around, it’s the perfect place for a full day out. 🌸✨

Opening Times

Usually open every day except Christmas Day.

The last tickets sold half an hour before the biomes close. Please check opening times before your visit as biomes may close early to maintain the health of plants.

There are also many seasonal activities.
